OpTionAl OvERNight (Saturday July 24 - SunDay July 25 at noon)
Galleywinter Farm & Retreat Center
In this midsummer gathering, we will rediscover the joy of being in community and creating together as we emerge - each in our own unique way - from the challenges, disruptions and isolation of pandemic life. Join us as we tend the soul fires, exploring what longs for expression, release and transformation within us. We will breathe, move, dance, draw, write, paint, and shape artful rituals of renewal through expressive arts and mindfulness explorations. Creating from this embodied place ignites our soulful capacity to live passionately, courageously and authentically as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times.
The daylong retreat will include individual and group art-making, a leisurely vegetarian lunch, and time to linger in nature. The optional overnight will offer extended time for personal retreat as well as connecting with others. We will share dinner, breakfast and an outdoor fire circle (weather permitting). Nestled at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Galleywinter Farm and Retreat Center offers a peaceful 20 acre oasis with walking trails, gardens, and a therapeutic horse program.
